This the key point for comparing KOA prices to other RV parks. Comparing the price of a KOA to a no frills RV park is meaningless. You must compare apples to apples. If you prefer a park with few to no amenities other than the basics, fine. And comparing a KOA to a state or COE park is also meaningless. In one case they are trying to make enough profit to live on. In the other they would just like to break even, or at least no go to far in the hole.
Our answers are not meaningless but your post is disrespectful.
The opinions the OP asked for are from the consumers viewpoint. Your trying to justify why the CG is charging what it does from the CG owners viewpoint and that's not what the question is about.
Frankly you argument is without merrit anyway. I see run down KOA's charging more than the nicest private CG's. And that's the rule and not the exception.
There is nothing disrespectful in my post. If you are going to make comparisons, make it apples to apples, not apples to oranges. The way some people post implies if you stay at a KOA you are always going to have a bad experience. But if you stay at a non KOA you will always have large and great accommodations at a cheap price. It don't work that way.
If I somehow offended you then I apologize.
