Cool! Is he turning the key on and off to get it to flame?
No,those are flamethrowers most likely,
consist of a spark plug inside of exhaust pipe

I pick up tiny shavings from the campfire area, light them, add bits of cut shavings and small kindling, then a bit larger and put a bigger piece on each side. By now, it's a nice kindling fire, and a few bigger pieces go in next.
If I can find a piece of pitch off a tree, that is fair too.
Like others that use fire starters.. for me, it's part of the ritual of camping. Also, it's a great skill to teach your little ones.
X2. This is the fun way to do it and as stated a great trait to teach your kids. - Bill___KateExplorerWe save our dryer lint. Stuff it into an empty dog food can - any can will work, but we have mostly dog food cans LOL. Then when we cook bacon, I pour the excess grease into the can on top of the lint. I am sure used cooking oil would work too. It is amazing how much grease a can packed full of link will soak up. When you are ready to start your fire, dump the lump of lint/bacon grease out into the fire pit, place some kindling wood around it, and light it off. The lint acts like a wick for the grease, and it burns hot for a remarkably long time, and things started off nicely.
- GaryWTExplorerThat is cool but I don't think everyone watched the video just went by the title. Wish I had one of those.
For the others, duroflames when you are outside seems boring. Once lit you can't toast a marshmallow or add wood to it so it does not seem as fun as a real wood fire. - TerryallanExplorer IIWe use "Magic Water" Charcoal lighter fluid. Works great
- mobilefleetExploreryou can make your own firestarters by using old candle wax and dryer lint. Or if lazy like me you can just turn the gas valve and light your Little Red campfire
- MurphsmomExplorerWe use dryer lint, too, but stuff it into empty toilet paper rolls, then smear some leftover grease on the ends. That way everything burns. I keep an empty mandarin orange bag hanging in the laundry room and just clean the dryer filter into it all winter long.
- fly-swatterExplorerNewspaper and kindling, then bigger pieces in a teepee shape. Don't want to cook with chemicals in the fire, we eat enough******as it is.
