Depends on time constraints for us, if we have limited time we travel further and later into the day. When we have extra time we go about 4-5 hours, but that can vary if there are some sightseeing spots along the way. When traveling to an unknown area we find RvParkReviews.com to be a worthy resource along with Google maps for satellite views of the parks we are interested in.
