We average 50 mph with stops and actual travel speed is 55-65 mph. When we have a far destination to reach, we might do up to two 10-hour days in row followed by a shorter day and a stay in a RV resort for night or two before cranking out more miles to our destination. This is usually our mid point to the destination. For example: Rapid City, SD is our common stop when visiting St. Louis, MO or Sacramento/San Francisco, CA when visiting the Mojave.
