Should never had ST China tires on the steer wheels.
I'm certain if he had steer wheels, the bovine would had made that drastic left into the median. :B
Good catch. Stupid spell check. I should go edit that. If their breaks worked better they would have stayed on the rode. :B
Now I need to fix that also. - Army11BravoExplorer II

- Dennis_M_MExplorerTime to watch the tire blowout video again!
- navegatorExplorerOn the video, on the right side of the road there is a piece of a tire on the shoulder, maybe he ran over a "road gator" or tried to avoid one and it got stuck on the steering and forced the wheel to turn left as the tire was being ripped apart, you can see debris flying at the back of the red truck on the median.
It is hard to see anything once the RV is blocking the lane to see if there is anything on the roadway, and the resolution on the video is not that sharp.
I travel at 55 and scan ahead, my wife gets annoyed at me because I do not turn to look at her when she is telling me something while I drive, I try to pay attention to what there is ahead and scan mirrors for passing vehicles and any road hazards or conditions that require my attention.
One thing we never had or have now is "gettherritis" we travel at a leisure pace and enjoy the view and the places that are there, I no longer drive at night, as I have gotten older my night vision as diminished, no more San Antonio, TX to Washington DC in less than 72 hours.
It would be interesting to find out exactly what really went wrong in this case, maybe someone in the area can ask the High Way Patrol, or State Troopers.
navegator - darsbenExplorer IIof course there is a five page thread FROM YESTERDAY about this but why check for previous threads

- Johno02ExplorerMaybe if it is posted enough times, some will pay attention to it.
- Johno02ExplorerI copied it from facebook, so when I click on it, it uses facebook. If it has been posted, you might check another of the postings for a better viewer. Someone needs to count the white strips and tell us how fast he was driving.
- ravExplorerWow! Thanks for posting
