How fast do you go

75 mph highway my sweet spot is 68mph towing

60~70 with tires rated for 87.

CA towing is 55, I set cruise to 60. Traveling in Freedom States I tow 70 at 70 and 75 at 75.

65 to 70, 68 seems to be the sweet spot for fuel economy.

I used to be in the 75 + range.... got older.. wiser ( somewhat ) and have fallen into the 65 range.. IF the limit is 70, I will try to stay around 67-68, I always feel a bit better IF I stay closer to the FLOW...

60mph is my pace. I could easily tow at 70mph, but what’s the hurry? I don’t have to tow it work. TT tires, lousy drivers surrounding me, unexpected happenings so why push it? Keep it at 60.

In state (55mph limit when towing) I pull at 60-62 and accelerate up to 70ish to make a pass. Out of state I go the speed limit.

I ask because I have heard people say "Never tow over X MPH" where X is usually 60 or 65 MPH. I can't stand to have cars flying past me so I am wondering what the issue is as long as your equipment is rated for it.

Simply trying to get an understanding of what others do.
