I USUALLY tow between 65 and 70 MPH but made one trip under emergency conditions where I traveled from Yellowstone western entrance to Topeka Overnight at speeds over 85 MPH at times. Didn't like it but the old F 150 held up to it just fine and so did the Maxis tires. I was prepared to unhitch the trailer and leave it beside the road if necessary to get home for my daughters emergency heart surgery the next day.
85MPH at night with a 34 TT is dangerous driving to say the least. In Canada dangerous driving is a criminal offence.
