Just out of curosity, how many of you, any type rig, know exactly how high your rig is??? Or have ever actually measured it?? I keep hearing and seeing stuff about people knocking stuff off the top or tearing something up. When we first got ours, I had the dealer measure it while in his shop on a level surface. Then posted that on a sticker that is stuck on my speedometer. Have had to back out a few times, and have brushed a few limbs, but nothing that I didn't expect.

I physically measured the rig. Laid a 2x4 with level on it from the highest point(AC), measured to ground. I added 4 inches for safety. Make sure you do it when there is no fresh water and the grey and black are empty.I had a phynlic label made that I attached to the dash.

I measured ours sitting empty right after buying it, then put that on the backside of the drivers visor

Did the same as Bud. Measured from highest point (satellite dome in my case) with 6' level and tape measure. Measured with empty tanks, 1/4 fuel and about 1500 lbs worth of stuff not yet loaded. Did it on level concrete driveway.

Under 10 feet. I measured it when we bought it, forgot long ago the exact height. Lowest bridge in my town is 10'3", I know I can fit under it.

My TT has "torsion bar" suspension, so it is noticeably lower than campers with leaf springs.

Now that you all have me thinking about it, I'm going to go and measure it this afternoon. Especially after looking at my signature picture... that A/C looks 10 feet-ish in the air.

if you plan to travel into Canada, be sure to add the metric height. Not fun trying to do the conversion in your head after seeing a metric sign about 200 feet before a low overpass.

We too got on top of our FW, measured the front highest to the back highest point (to take into consideration should we need to back under something), and posted both on a piece of paper, laminated it, and adhered it to the front upper inside windshield so the driver only has to do a quick glance. Our measurement included the satellite folded down, but our highest point in front was the front AC shroud, and also added a couple of inches.

We are 13'4". Turnpike bridges are 13'6". If needed, I can lower the coach 5-6 inches as we had to do at Disney's Wilderness RV Park in Orlando to get under the canopy. This was at the end of '14 when we picked up our new coach.

The kiosks were built when coaches were a lot lower. There was a plan for a major renovation (what the lady said) to accommodate larger coaches.
