How long a trailer and be comfortable towing on a long trip

there is a rule of thumb about length of TT you can pull with a certain wheel base. you can find it with a little looking in the RV FAQ's on this page in the heading above. mind you it is a rule of thumb only. I tow a 35 ft with my truck but it is a 3/4 ton with a 6.0 and 4.10' axle.
