How long can you keep water in tank?
How long can you keep fresh water in your tank? I would think at some point-in-time, with all the stagnant water, bacteria and other harmful things could grow.

Winnebago recommends that the water system be sanitized prior to the first use, if the coach has not been used "for a period of time," one that could have become contaminated, and prior to long periods of storage, such as over the winter.
That is the procedure we use. For me, "a period of time" is about 45 days, which rarely happens for us, except during the winter. Sanitizing the water system does take several hours, but is not labor intensive.
