So if it was done correctly when you bought it they sent the MSO and associated paper work to dmv with Durnell as the lien holder. After you pay it off and they are satisfied that the funds have cleared they will send title with lien signed off either to you or dmv to reissue new title with no lien holder. DMV can take weeks depending on how backlogged they are along with the time it takes Durnell to do their work.
