Planning the actual trip varies a lot.
For actual prep to leave, I dump/fill tanks, restock, clean after my prior trip. So I simply pick up groceries the night before and load them. Put meds, electronics, etc., into a bag ready to grab in the morning.
Morning of, 10 minutes top. And that is mostly taken up with getting the bird into his carrier. Dogs are usually in the clipper before I can get the door opened.
