I'm curious about how long it takes you all from when the idea for a trip occurs to actually being on the road.
About 30 minutes, although I’ve done it in about 10 minutes.
It’s all about prep’ing. Both of my motorhomes, a 24’ C and a 32’ A have their own full set of pots, pans, cutlery, bedding, towels and kitchen (dry & can goods, etc.) and personal (deodorant, soap, toothpaste, etc.) and are kept full of fuel and propane. I also have 3 ‘away bags’ with hot, cold & cool / warm weather clothing.
In order to be on the road I need to put onboard enough water to get me down the road, whatever perishable food I’ll need for a day or two and whatever (hot/cold/in-between) clothing I need.
