I would not be surprised if this is hard to follow....

We bought the coach to do a "Northern Tier Tour" of northern border states and Yellowstone NP. That was 2006. Things went wrong and we didn't get to do that until 2014. I still had the plan book all made up. We added to the plan, but it was pretty much as planned originally.
We are retired now, and the coach is ready most of the travel season. When I say ready, I mean the reefer cold and often stocked, provisions for three days, clothes and such aboard. Last year there was a day that I was doing something in the coach and the big dog climbed in, then the little dog followed. Mary came looking for them. The only time they will not come if she calls is if they are in the coach....
She guessed and came to find them just as I was finishing up. She suggested that we go to see something. I told her that the dogs did not have the "going" with harnesses. (These are harnesses that have full identification tags on them.) So, she went back in, turned off the house, picked up the harnesses and off we went, just like that....
We have done similar, but usually with more lead time.
