How long to go from idea to execution for a trip?

We do not keep food or clothing in the trailer when not in use. My wife starts accumulating food stuff a week ahead and starts packing a few days before we leave. I get ready the day before.

When camping by myself I also get ready the day before to leave first thing in the morning. Actual time spent getting ready is probably under an hour.

Can't think of a single trip where we've left spur of the moment, that's not our style.
