How long to go from idea to execution for a trip?

our schedule does not give us spur of the moment leave time, so we know when we are hitting the road and have that time to get up and go on the spot at that time. We have it all done days before we need to leave :) sometimes we hit the road the night before cause we can and just stop and maybe catch a few hrs zzzzs in a rest area or truck stop on our longer drive trips.

OP your out the door and drive time is impressive on a whim trip...cool
