I have been going to PPL recently looking at units that members here are interested in buying. I look at units anywhere from 2 to 15 years old and have noticed more newer models have rusty tubes than older models. I didn't take note of brands to see if I can collate if a particular brand is worse but I will start doing this.
My question is would spraying my tubes with krylon high-heat black affect the function of the unit?
I'm thinking of coating mine while they are still new and relatively rust free.
