How long will refrigerator stay cold when in travel?

Doing a local trip about 6 hours one way. Want to bring some burgers, eggs and such and don't want to store an extra cooler. In the past for shorter trips, I just put on the fridge at my house colde...

We use to travel with the frig off because my wife was afraid that we would be blown to bits. We finally got over that.

>Turn on your propane.
>Purge the gas line by lighting the stove for a minute.
>Set the frig to Auto or Gas (I always set to auto)
>Get on down the road

(Auto setting will automatically switch the frig to electric when you plug into shore power)
