800 miles not towing is about our daily limit. Towing, we shoot for 400 miles or less, maybe 500 in a pinch. Having done long trips the only way I'd try 1200 miles towing is if it was ALL interstate and ALL speed limits 60 or over towing and around any big metro areas. In other words, when we from oregon to san diego I refuse to do it in two days towing given the 55 towing limit and big metro areas to go through on the interstate. We usually tow in the low 60's but the 55 and long distance is an oxymoron.
