sign for your campsite? One with your family names or where you are from. When we camped years ago, it seemed everyone had a sign. I still see a lot of them but not as many. Is this a regional thing?

For me, my first name is an invitation into my personal space. Because of that, I don't just leave it out there for anyone to get. I was so glad when I could stop writing checks so cashiers would stop calling me by the name on my check - it always felt like an invasion to me.
So, no I do not have a sign when I'm camping. I don't want to just give out that invitation to everyone who passes by.
