How many miles have you towed in one day?
We are planning a trip to Yellowstone next August. I want to go about 550 miles the first day. My wife says thats too far. What do others think?

Since we are still working and considered as weekend warriors, we need to push sometimes.
When we take our trips to and from Florida we will drive hard the first day. This makes the 2nd day easier and better to unload if going home..
When in Florida ( Sarasota ) we will go all the way to Doswell VA on the first day ( 870 miles) .. that leaves us 300 or so miles the second day..
This allows us more time to enjoy, and ample time to unload/clean/ and get ready for work the next day..
