How many miles have you towed in one day?
We are planning a trip to Yellowstone next August. I want to go about 550 miles the first day. My wife says thats too far. What do others think?

We have done over 500 a number of times on the first day to get on down the road. But nothing close on subsequent days. Over 10 hours is definitely a long time in the truck. Often on trips that long, the DW will drive part of the way to break up the monotony. It is only "too long" or "too far" if it is "too long" or "too far" for YOU or your wife, not what everyone else thinks.
