How many miles have you towed in one day?
We are planning a trip to Yellowstone next August. I want to go about 550 miles the first day. My wife says thats too far. What do others think?

We may have done it when younger but rarely and now, no way. It's not just the driving fatigue but we want to be in a campground and parked ready to start diner by 5 or a little later in mid-summer. Even more important if you don't have reservations. Taking it easy and having time to enjoy the campground, even if 1 night, makes the trip more enjoyable to us.
