How many miles have you towed in one day?
We are planning a trip to Yellowstone next August. I want to go about 550 miles the first day. My wife says thats too far. What do others think?

IMHO, ideal is about 6 hours drive time, which translates to 250 miles. I did 425 once, and man was that tiring. If you want to do 550 miles, you are going to start your trip exhausted and not catch up until you arrive and have a couple days to rest. It's doable, but not enjoyable. Just saying.
