How many miles have you towed in one day?
We are planning a trip to Yellowstone next August. I want to go about 550 miles the first day. My wife says thats too far. What do others think?

I just did the Yellowstone trip from the Chicago suburbs. My first day was to Chamberlain SD, 700 miles, apptox 12 hours. Then from there we went to RedLodge MT 500 miles and 11 hours (we detoured through The Badlands in SD. When you are pressed for time you have to make do with what you have. It helps to have a very comfortable vehicle and a well setup trailer/RV.
