How many miles have you towed in one day?
We are planning a trip to Yellowstone next August. I want to go about 550 miles the first day. My wife says thats too far. What do others think?

Commercial driving 450-500 a day. If you average 50mph with fuel stops, food, pit stops, etc. you will be doing well. Your wife's right 550 miles is too far, plan your day by hours. Eight hours will be a good day giving you time to rest.
