How many miles have you towed in one day?
We are planning a trip to Yellowstone next August. I want to go about 550 miles the first day. My wife says thats too far. What do others think?

The 550 miles that I want to pull is first day only. We live in Texas and I just want to get to New Mexico so I can feel like I have made some progress. There would not be any traffic to speak of except going through Amarillo. The rest of the trip would be less stressfull. But, I've been married long enough to understand, "happy wife, happy life!"
