The tracker is about 2500# so I suppose it is possible to do it. You'll need to rig it with tow lights too. When you come to long uphill sections it may be best to drop it and let the DW drive it up. Were it me, I'd have the DW drive it and stay about 1/4 mile behind (I hate seeing the wives sitting on the husband's rear bumper). If the tracker has a problem (flat tire, etc.) you'll never know it until it's too late. If you insist on towing it, put wheel sensors on it and make sure the signal reaches your tow vehicle.
