I first bought about a 1986 Ford class C 27 ft, we did a lot of work on it but
hubby worried it was to old for me.
Then I got a Winnebago 29 ft V10 Ford with 2 slides, very nice, but to light, wind blew us all over.
Hubby said I will get you something the wind won't blow, so about 3 years ago we got a 1992 American Eagle, 38 ft. I only go about once a year and we have been fixing this and that each year. Engine was fine and so was tranny, but we redid the roof with liquid roof and put everything new up top. New auto window
mechanisms in front, new levelor, just got 2 new front tires and going to get the rears before I take off. No slides but I like it and may be my last one
its a good old motorhome and I like drving it.
rest before I take off this year
