Very often do take a boat. Either our decked out fully carpeted 16-1/2' Smokercraft King Troller with its fast Evinrude power trim and tilt outboard and loaded with electronics and has a walk around under large Bimini top. OR Our fiberglass 19' Sea Pro Centra Cuddy Cabin I/O which is also loaded with electronics and has a full enclosure top and a head. Depends on where we are going and what we plan and of course the weather.
RV'ing and boating and/or real fishing is a way of life in Michigan as it has hundreds of waterfront campgrounds (most having boat launches) and over 11,000 inland lakes plus 4 of the 5 Great Lakes with having over 3200 miles of GL shoreline alone.
Double tow with the 5th wheel behind the truck or have the big Lance truck camper on the back of the truck and the boat on behind when it's best suited for where we are going or when going in the gestapo nanny states that won't allow double towing. Usually avoid those wimpy pansy states but can't always.
Have to be prepared for most anything!
