Unless you're going to draw on your savings, the key piece of the puzzle is what you make during your six months of annual work. Now... I'm not suggesting you post that here (I probably would not have posted savings amount, either) but that number is crucial. If Doctor, Lawyer or Indian chief, probably fine on those terms. If Would You Like Fries With That?... probably not. Only you will know. As for what it costs, which is probably your real question, there is a very wide range depending on how you intend to do it. I'd suggest you try it for a month and see what level of spending vs lifestyle is to your liking.

That's a personal question only you can answer. Many manage on less, others are uncomfortable with more. First thing, make sure you have a good handle on your spending.
