So are you saying on a 500w panel, in the mid afternoon where the sun is directly above you, it will only generate 250w?
I've just read up on another article, and in that article, he says assume you can only collect sunlight around 1/6 of the available daytime hours - i.e. 4 hours. Does this mean for a 500w panel, it will only collect 2kwh on a typical day? This barely exceeds _ONE_ battery capacity (well, since I'm not allowed to drain more than 50%, I guess it's more accurate to say two batteries).
For those with experience, how much power does your panel collect per day on your configuration?
