Independent inspections value varies according to what it guaranties for instance there is a inspection service touting it's services which promises to inspect but if they miss something the have no liability. Then $500 is to much and even $250 is to much.
You would be better off going to an independent shop for an engine powertrain inspection and an oil analysis and then a mobile RV repair guy to inspect the house part..
Does the service you plan to use mention telling you the age of the tires? If not then they know nothing about inspecting an RV. Original tires on a 2002 NEED TO BE CHANGED no matter how much tread.
