Why is no one mentioning all those bridges to nowhere. The reward for voting the right way in Congress. You get to waste BILLIONS of road use money on a useless bridge. That is the kind of waste that once stopped, could rebuild our roads.
Also. How many of you actually know how much a tractor trailer really pays in road use taxes. 30 years ago a trailer tag cost $2000.00. Wanna guess what it is now. I don't. THEN you had to buy a tractor tag, and THEN you have to buy fuel, and pay road use taxes on it, and THEN you have to buy a permit to drive thru each state. It can run into the tens of thousands. Still want to whine about how much those big trucks wear out the road? they pay for it. One of those truck can pay more road use taxes in a couple years, than many will in a lifetime.
