It depends... Easter weekend, my brother and his wife joined us in the state park that we were camping in. After lunch, we took a long hike including all the dogs. They like us have annual state park pass and this park is less than 30 miles from their home, so they would have likely been at the park even if I wasn't.
Mid March, met DD, SIL and DGD in Savannah. DD and SIL were attending/participating in a wedding there. I babysat DGD during non-child-friendly events and also dog-sat so they didn't have to pay high rates for having dog at hotel. Due to scheduling issues, daughter and son-in-law drove separately and then left his truck at campground, very near wedding site, so they didn't have to pay additional parking for second vehicle.
We have had many family gatherings in campgrounds and are always careful not to block roadways or park in the wrong place. We are always aware of parking rules and check with management if there are any questions/concerns. We are a camping family and have had numerous gatherings with tents, TT's, and MH's all in the same campground area to enjoy sharing time together.
