EMD Diesel Engines have Four Crab Bolts that hold the Cylinder Head and Liner down. These bolts are torqued to 1800 pounds. We would use a torque multiplier and a torque wrench to get to the required torque. This would require moving the Multiplier to position it over each nut. The old still of this tool was not the lightest thing to be swinging around, especially in 10 to 15 foot seas. They also had a hydraulic rig that would do all four crabs in sequence, these were pretty expensive so my company would never pony up the cash for them.
