how real do your electric 'fireplace' flames look?

I had two different ones, both look real. Had one that had a small dent and they ordered a new one. It was different. When I took it home and turned it on it looked like krap. Took it out and drove back to the dealer and got my dented one. Dent popped out with pressure on the back side. Looked good.
Guess it's the luck of the draw when they use different brands.
