RVing is a hobby. Many hobbies do not make or save money. Some hobbies are for enjoyment alone. Hobbies can be expensive or cheap but the key to a hobby is enjoyment.
I engage in my hobby of RVing to see the sites , meet interesting people and travel. I find the comfort of having my things around me and my own living spaces to be a good part of my hobby.
I do not care to "count the cost of my hobby". As long as I can do it while having the funds to support myself in all things then it is all good.
When we leave this world, nothing goes with us and as long as I have not created a burden for those left behind: I am good.
