How to find RV storage location

We live in a townhome in Northern VA just outside of DC. We are looking to buy a TT this spring but are having major trouble finding a place with storage space available. Do any of the campground services like Woodalls (they didn't) identify what campgrounds offer storage? Any other ideas?

I have been looking at the Woodalls listings for the area. While there is not a checkbox for "storage" in the search criteria, I have been looking at individual listings to see if the they list storage as a service. I have actually found a couple within 50 miles.

After you find campgrounds close enough why don't you just call them and ask about storage? If they don't offer storage, ask them for suggestions. Referrals and word of mouth will get you the results if you persevere. Clicking on the computer cruising the internet probably will not be as successful.

They have offered a couple of ideas but all locations were wait list only. It is tough up here in this area! :R

We are going to an RV show this weekend - maybe there will be some campgrounds represented.

Keep the ideas coming as I'm sure I am not the only one with this dilemma.

Not sure if this will help or if these are what you have already checked into.
We live in Maryland, have noticed RV's lined up behind the fences at "personal" storage lots where you rent a units or shed etc.
I have seen RV's and campers parked at 2 of them locally.
    Good Luck.

Thanks. We have checked into a couple of those facilities but they typically cost between $100-150 per month. Campgrounds are typically lower priced and offer yearly discounts. The local recreation district has two facilities for about $50 per month, but both have waiting lists.

    Phone book for starters.

We did that, but all RV storage places are full. Campgrounds don't specify storage in their ads. I was trying to find an online search feature. Thanks anyway.
