How to get rid of mothball smell..
Well, I won't do That again. I put mothballs inside my B while it was in long term storage. While I'm so happy to resurrect my traveling machine, the smell of mothballs is noxious. Any suggestions?

- How many mothballs & what is the duration of storage?
We have been using the mothball & dryer sheet method for some years now for winter storage November to April. We come back to it & move straight in. There is a slight smell of mothballs after 6 months of being locked up but first thing we do is open all windows.
In a couple of days there is no noticeable smell. Never had a critter problem either. - or fresh cab smells a little like cedar wood.
- If your using mothballs for rodent prevention try using dryer sheets instead. I use them in the compartments of my boats to deter mice. Works great, smell good. Just place a sheet in all the compartments.
