How to ID a WD hitch
How can I ID a WD Hitch. There are no markings on bars or hitch. Would like to confirm if it is 700lb,1000lb 1200lb etc. looks like a Ez- lift but unable to tell manufacturer or load rating? Thanks for any input.ball is 2-1/16"

- Yah but even if you ID the brand, the bars look the same regardless of their weight rating.
I do recall there being some sort of mark on a certain brand of weight bars (reese?), where a certain number of dots indicated the weight rating of the bars.
That said, it might be better to be safe than sorry. Spring bars are not expensive, and all you need are bars rated for the right weight. robojeeper wrote:

Impossible - you must mean 2-5/16", the next size down being 2", then 1-7/8". As for the WD hitch itself, post pics and maybe someone will recognize what you have.
