How to stop mileage from accumulating on a 2013 crv

Question

I have a 2013 crv with an SMI braking system. I have seen some posts that say miles do not accumulate on their crv but mine does.  How can I prevent the miles from accumulating while the vehicle is being towed?

It is still accumulating miles even though the engine is not running. Have you considered a dolly?

You need to select the proper key position. You are towing it with the key in the ON position instead of the ACC position. Also are you pulling the proper fuses as outlined in the owner's manual for recreational towing??

I have a 2013 CRV that I tow with no mileage on OD when towing.  You have the key in the wrong position.  When you are done running the engine prior to towing turn the key one notch down, motor shuts off and dash lights shut off and steering wheel is unlocked.  Dick
