Our previous coach had a combo W/D and we found it not to our liking. We had to run a load every night and typically, the dryer could only handle 1/2 of that load so had to run it twice. The unit may have been a little out of balance somehow as it really vibrated the motor home. We eventually gave up and used it as a dirty clothes hamper and used the park's facilities for our washing/drying. This was also really not very desirable...inconvenient to say the least.
However, our new motor home has a stacked W/D and while it is quite as big as our units at home, they will handle quite a bit of clothes at one time and you can run the dryer separately from the washer...big plus! We now wash once a week and works out very well.
Highly recommend the stacked unit.....combo not so much.
