I love my friend's washer & dryer. I use her's every time I pull into the park they are living in!
Seriously, her park is filled with oil field workers. They tend to make a mess of the machines. So I use her set. She has a GE Super Capacity (yes!) washing machine and a Maytag LP dryer. She bought them used. Cost her under $300 total for the two. Like me, she got tired of having her clothes ruined at the laundromat (why do people dye their stuff or wash their pet stuff at the laundromat?) so she found one of those places that do nothing but acquire older appliances and fix them up to sell. Even got a 3 month warranty and free delivery. I WILL be getting a top load washer and LP dryer when they help me build my own schoolbus conversion! I'm getting too old to schlep the laundry back and forth.
BTW, I have been places where the nearest laundromat was 30 miles away!
