No one knows for sure what's going to happen. Paul Ryan and some of his colleagues would like to privatize SSI and Medicare. Trump has recently stated that contrary to what he said in his campaign speeches that he will probably leave some of Obama care intact. Right now it's all speculation and it's still a little over 2 months before he's sworn in. It will take awhile to sort thru all the legal aspects of what they can and can't do with programs.
Until then it's camping as usual for us. I do think older people are more concerned about what will happen with SSI and Medicare as well as the health insurance industry as many are on fixed or slow rising incomes.
If I were considering a major purchase like a $60-80,000 RV I would put it on hold till next summer at least so I could get an idea of where this new administration is headed. Many things are said and promised during campaigns. Many of those never come to fruition.
Book some camping trips and hope for the best.
