We are driving buggy whips. 2000 moving parts vs 20. The implications are staggering for the infrastructure which has grown up around ICE powered vehicles. The days of the talented mechanic who could come and listen to a vehicle and have a pretty good idea of what was wrong and how to fix it have already ended.
