Lot of optimism these days. I didn't watch the video. Just read comments about it.

Call me pessimistic, but as for me and mine...we are seeking to become as self sufficient as we can. Also, we have become surrounded by have-nots who frequently seek what we have....usually at night. Been thinking more about ways to defend ourselves, rather than thinking about new high tech stuff.

Self driving cars won't solve many of the problems we have around here.
