GM recently asked this question about self driving vehicles, stateing that their production of same would depend on the answer. Who is responsible when a 4 yr old child steps into the path of legally operating self driver? The owner or GM? Every lawyer is awaiting the decision! As well as GM and every other vehicle producer.
