Hubby busy!

Well with the issues with our tires we are checking a few things. Measurements were taken and we are waiting to see if axle is the problem. Hubby spent this morning and changed all the bearings. The TT doesn't have many miles on it but for the little amount of $ why wouldn't you check and change them. The old ones all looked fine after I cleaned them but new ones went in. I have a feeling it is going to come down to tires. That is the next thing. We will order 5 new ones.

  • For a rough check of bent axles, park the trailer on a level surface. Check across frame with a level to make sure it is level side to side. Now check to see if the wheels are plumb.
  • Too much weight on an axel would result in it deforming in a U shape. This would result in inside tire wear on all tires.
  • It would be unusual for tires to have a defect that would cause them all to wear on the inside. But maybe you've checked the likely problems areas.

    Best regards...

What is your original problem and have you posted the problem before? While reading this post what happened to your tires? Otherwise your post makes no sense to me.

Sorry......I had posted before about our tires wearing out on the inside. The TT had been towed maybe 2000 miles. We were trying to figure out why the wear.

We have come to the conclusion that it is the factory tires.
