Heaviest rain is in Gonzales County, east of San Antonio. We're north of San Antonio and getting the outer rain bands and wind. Not too bad right now, but supposed to get worse this afternoon and evening. One and a half inches rain measured so far, with much more inbound.
We live on a hillside, way above the lake and Guadalupe River, so we're in zero flood danger. We have a generator if we lose power, rainwater collection, and lots and lots of food, so we're in really good shape, should floodwaters trap us here (has only happened once, for a couple hours, but it's possible).
Our RV is at Texas Custom Coach in Pipe Creek for an update. Hope it's under cover. The travel trailer is as secure as we could make it. The motorcycle trailer is on its own...
Brought Mom up from San Antonio, where the rainfall and flooding is far more likely. Sister, who lives in a low lying area west of SA, came with nephew, two dogs and two cats. Our cat is not terribly happy about the invasion, but it's been relatively peaceful so far.
